The Department of Physical Therapy is seeking undergraduate and graduate interns to join our research team. Our research examines the mechanisms by which human movement
contributes to patients’ symptoms, physical function, and ultimately, quality of life. We use state-of-the-art 3D motion analysis combined with force plates, electromyography and plantar pressure measurement technology. In addition, we use a number of clinical (self-reported outcomes, muscle strength) and translational (blood biomarkers) outcomes in our research projects.
