Career Development: For YOU and the COMMUNITY!

Become a Day of Service Volunteer with the Opportunity Programs!

Take advantage of a great and fun opportunity to expand your professional experience and serve the community through Day of Service!

Day of Service has been providing education and career information to students in grades 4-12 for the past 20 years. The goal of this project is to promote access for historically underrepresented and economically disadvantaged students to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields and the licensed professions.

As a member, you will be trained to deliver presentations regarding the STEM fields to 4-12th grade students in partnering area elementary, middle, and high schools. We invite ALL NYU students both from STEM and NON-STEM majors/backgrounds to sign-up.

Day of Service is a great way to polish your public speaking skills while giving back to your community, and it is makes a great addition to your resume.

If you would like to take advantage of this great opportunity, click on the attached documents for more information about DOS and sign-up by emailing tamika.coy@gmail.com with your name and N number.

We will contact you to schedule a training session and site visits. Food and metro cards will be provide!!!
