This is an intensive six-week summer internship opportunity for college students interested in pursuing a career in health care. Students are placed with health professionals in different health facilities in the Bronx and Westchester counties. This program exposes students to a variety of careers in the health field as well as to health issues affecting their communities. Students who successfully complete SHIP will emerge with new found connections, job readiness skills, and insight into the world of health care. Students receive a stipend for participating in the program (paid internship).
