Internship Opportunity: China California Heart Watch Internship Abroad

International Medical and Public Health Internship

Pre-med? Interested in public health? Want hands-on experience helping to run rural clinics in China? The China California Heart Watch is a 501(c)3 public charity whose mission includes medical research, teaching and clinical care in rural Yunnan Province, China.

This June, July, August, September and December, China Cal will be hosting internship programs in which students will assist in a screening and treatment of high blood pressure and heart disease program for adults and school children living in rural townships. Participants will travel and work with faculty from Kunming and Dali Universities, as well as Dr. Robert Detrano, Professor of Medicine/Cardiology at the University of California at Irvine.
