Director of Scholarship Programs at ARC

Time: Friday, March 2nd, 9:30 - 11:30am
Location: Academic Resource Center, 18 Washington Place

The NYU Office of National Scholarships oversees the application and nomination process for current NYU students (and recent alumni) who wish to apply for a small set of national prestigious scholarships*. Some of these scholarships are open to underclassmen and will help pay for college here at NYU or for study abroad programs; these include Goldwater, Udall, and Boren. Others will fund post-graduate study in the U.S. and abroad; these include Rhodes, Marshall, and Fulbright, to name a few. All of these are highly competitive awards, and winning them is a great honor.

It is never too early to learn about the opportunities available to you and to think about applying – many successful candidates have begun planning their applications as early as freshman year. Come talk to the Director of Scholarship Programs and learn about what scholarships are available, what you need to begin thinking about in order to apply for them, and how NYU can help you in the application process.
