Jorge Castañeda, is the Jacob K. Javits Visiting Professor and Global Distinguished Professor of Politics and Latin American and Caribbean Studies at New York University and the former Foreign Minister of Mexico (2000 to 2003). Dr. Castañeda is a renowned public intellectual, political scientist, and prolific writer.
