Triage Assistant positions at NYU Langone Medical Center

NYU Langone Medical Center's Hospitalist Group is looking for four exceptional individuals who can flourish in the busy world of a Manhattan Emergency Department. In a close mentoring relationship with the hospitalist on duty, the Triage Assistant will:

·         help match patients with the correct medical team and location

·         answer requests and questions from nurses and others all over the medical center

·         keep a current database of all admissions

·         learn pathophysiology of disease at the bedside

This is an opportunity for someone who is interested in entering medicine and who wants to get a taste of the real world. 

Salary is $35K each year for (3) 12 hr shifts weekly.

Sarah Lawrence is a pioneer in the field of human genetics: the College has produced more than half of the nation's professionals in the genetic counseling field. Through a program of rigorous, interdisciplinary study and field placement, the graduates are redefining the relationship among health, science, and society.

Registration is required. Receipt of registration form and fee will be sent to you via e-mail.

The fee to register is $25, and includes includes breakfast and lunch. Registration deadline is May 25, 2012.
