Academic Skills Workshop – Finals Prep!
Finals are quickly approaching. Are you ready? Prepare for final exams and papers with the help of students who have been through it before! You’ll hear about ways to manage your time and effectively prioritize your study load from the ULC’s Academic Coaches and Learning Assistants. Our goal is to have you leave this workshop with your own study plan for finals in place.
This workshop will be offered twice; 60 – 75 minutes. NO RSVP required.

Volunteer Opportunity @ Bellevue's Pediatric Clinic

Bilingual (Eng/Spa) Volunteers Needed!

We will be interviewing rising sophomore and junior bilingual students for The Health Education and Literacy for Parents (HELP) Project at Bellevue’s Pediatric Clinic. Training will begin at the end of the NYU semester for volunteers who can commit for the summer and fall. Applications should be submitted as soon as possible. Presented by The Association of Korean American Medical Physicians (AKAM) and Korean American Medical Students Association (KAMSA)

Come get advice about applying to medical school from a panel of doctors who serve the Korean American community! Panelists will include MDs, DOs, and oversees medical graduates. Q/A to follow...

AKAM is an organization made up of all 1.5 or 2nd generation Korean American physicians who graduated from a US medical school. AKAM believes that Korean students face different pressures when applying to medical school than other minorities and has been holding an annual seminar for the past five years to provide real world advice for students that are interested.

Exploring Health Careers: Student Perspective Series

The Preprofessional Advising Center invites all undergraduate pre-health students to an event designed for you to hear from current students and recent graduates of professional programs in a variety of health-related disciplines. We understand that some of the most trusted advice is peer-to-peer, and we are excited to present this element to you!

Speakers will talk about their educational background, the application process for their professional program, and current educational experience. Q&A and refreshments to follow!
